NJ Furniture Mart Return Policy

At NJ Furniture Mart, we offer a 30-day return policy starting from the day you receive your order. If you're not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can return it for a refund within 30 days of delivery, as long as it is in its original condition and packaging.

Refund Requirements

  • Items must be new and unused.
  • Items must include all original packaging and accessories.
  • Items must not be assembled or altered in any way.
  • Items must have a return authorization number provided by NJ Furniture Mart.

Fees and Deductions

All returns and exchanges are subject to a 15% restocking fee plus applicable return shipping fees outlined below.

A return shipping fee estimated at $0.99 per pound will be deducted from your refund if:

  • You arrange for NJ Furniture Mart to pick up your return from your home or delivery address.
  • You refuse delivery without prior approval from NJ Furniture Mart.
  • You reject an entire shipment because a part of the item is damaged.
  • The delivery address you provided was incorrect, and the order couldn't be delivered.
  • You cancel your order after the cancellation period has passed.
  • The item doesn't fit through your door or in your home.

If you return only part of an order that included a package discount, the package discount will be void, and you will receive a reduced credit reflecting the original discount.

If any parts or accessories are missing from the original packaging, a fee will be deducted from your refund.

  • Additional charges may apply for remote delivery locations.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Items marked "Final Sale" or "Special Order."
  • Items that have been assembled (unless a written exception is provided by NJ Furniture Mart).

Tips to Avoid a Return

  • Before placing your order, ensure the item will fit through your door and in the intended space. If it doesn't, the delivery company may have to leave the product outside your door, on a porch, or in a garage.
  • If your item arrives with minor or cosmetic damage from shipping, we can often replace the damaged parts to avoid a return.

  3. Local White Glove Delivery Carrier: Your order will be entrusted to a Local White Glove Delivery Carrier—a seasoned professional in residential furniture delivery and assembly. Our large parcel carrier ensures the safe transfer of your item to the White Glove Delivery Carrier in your area, maintaining the utmost care throughout.
  4. Schedule Your Delivery:Upon receipt of your order, the Local White Glove Delivery Carrier will reach out to you to coordinate a delivery appointment tailored to your schedule.
  5. Efficient Delivery:On the designated delivery day, our experienced team will arrive punctually to transport and install your new furniture, ensuring a seamless and satisfactory delivery experience.
